Your rights under India's data protection law
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
Access
You can ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, what we do with it, and who we have shared it with.
Correction and updating
You can ask us to correct inaccurate data, complete incomplete data, or update data that has changed.
Erasure
You can ask us to delete your personal data. We will, unless a law requires us to keep it, for example accounting records.
Withdrawing consent
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it as easily as you gave it. For cookies, use at any time. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before, and if you withdraw the contact details we need to reply, we will not be able to answer your enquiry.
Grievance redressal
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, tell our legal team first and we will work to put it right. If we do not resolve it, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Nominating someone
You can nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become unable to do so yourself.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom
You also have the rights the GDPR gives you, including to restrict or object to how we use your data, to receive the data you gave us in a portable format, and to complain to the data protection authority where you live. Contact our legal team in the same way.
